Antoine Saad (violin/viola) and
Susanne Kowal (piano/presentation) are giving concerts since 1990 at a high artistic level with ambitious programs and presentations.

Both artists combine their interesting and extraordinary music programs with lovingly handpicked inserted texts and anecdotes addressing the compositions as well as the composers and their contemporaries.

In keeping with their Greek eponym, the lyre player Orpheus, Duo Orpheo captivates the listeners and takes them on a musical-literary educational journey from which they return emotionally and intellectually enriched and delighted.

The wide-ranging repertoire covers the entire musical range from the classic violin sonata all the way to the popular “earworm“, an art form of the musical salon of past times which is particularly dear to the two musicians, as shown by the skillful mastery of a virtually infinite number of encores and salon music pieces in fanciful programs.
